SHPE and NSBE are asking for volunteers to help out with their upcoming events.
SHPE is hosting Noche de Ciencias (Science Night) for high school students and their families tonight from 6PM to 9PM on the UH campus. Volunteers will help students and parents with different projects, and talk to them about college do's and don'ts and how to apply. If interested in helping out, please show up to the SEC building room 100 to sign in or contact Eduardo Valdez at evaldez4@uh.edu to find out more about this event.
NSBE is having their Walk for Education coming up and need people to volunteer to talk to high school dropouts and their families about the importance of finishing HS. All volunteers will be placed in teams for this event and food will be provided. If interested, contact Joshua Situka at chair@uhnsbe.org to find out more.
