Upcoming Events

So many things and it's just the start of the Year! Hopefully you have all read our recent email, if not, here is the update.

We have been approved to build a schoolhouse in Nicaragua! As y'all can imagine, it takes a great deal of planning to take a small trip; therefore, we need your continued support in the process. You can go on to read about the experiences of two of our members. We are now preparing for an assessment trip during Spring Break.

In order for us to raise funds, we will be hosting an auction on January 24, 2009 at the Gingerman Pub in the Rice Village. In order for this to be a success, we are collecting items for the auction, this can be anything like the items our VP suggested. Can range from gift cards to gift baskets. Remember, we also need YOU to be there and have fun. Invite your friends!

Another important event, we are competing in the Engineering Alumni Association's E-week competition. We will need people to be able to help the students in the competition. Further information about dates and The type of project will be posted soon.
